As many of you probably know we have been having some problems with
Carsen and biting for quite awhile now. It seems like he goes in cycles, he will not bite at all for months at a time, and then out of the blue he bites Parker 5 times in one day! We have tried pretty much everything we can think of as well as following the advice of many friends and relatives, however NOTHING seems to work with this stubborn little boy. Any advice you may have would be greatly appreciated and welcome!
So.... yesterday was one of those horrible 5 bite days and Charles and I are at the end of our ropes. We talked to him repeatedly about not biting and about how sad it makes us and Parker when he is mean. Today as Charles was leaving he told
Carsen to remember what we talked about and our little guy looks at us and says, " Can I just give Parker a little nibble?." What?! Does he think we will say , " sure son, as long as it's not a huge chomp it shouldn't be a problem." My dad has suggested finding a child sized
hannibal lecter mask, and I have to say I am tempted to go looking for one. So, to prevent my child from being muzzled and me from going insane I am asking for help from anyone who may have a solution to our problem!
* by the way I am totally kidding about puting a muzzle on him, just incase you couldn't tell :))
