Soccer

C played his first soccer game this past Saturday and

it was a great game! C scored two goals in the first quarter and even though I promised myself I would never be one of "those" parents. I totally was... you know the ones that scream at the top of their lungs cheering for their child like they just won an Olympic gold medal... yeah that was me. :) I was so proud of him!!

Framed

The past month has been an incredibly busy one for me as far as my vinyl business is concerned, and yesterday I decided that I just needed to take a break and do something that didn't involve work! And so yesterday afternoon I took the boys to Sonic for happy hour... where we were informed that their slush machine was broken! Seriously?!

After I, I mean the BOYS got over the fact that we wouldn't be enjoying a slush we decided that limeades would just have to do. While enjoying our nice cold drinks on the way to Palmer Park our little P man decided that he would take the lid off of his incredibly full drink and... well you know what happened. Little boy sitting in a pool of ice cold, sticky goodness! :) Needless to say Palmer Park had to wait. We ended up going home and bouncing on the trampoline until our faces were red and everyone was tired.

To finish off the day I took some time to do a project for myself! I took this old frame and the mat that came with it and made it my own.



Then I slipped in my favorite peice of art given to me by a budding young artist and called it a day!

The past year has flown by and our baby is now ONE! He is such a joy, and we feel so blessed to have him in our family.

We have had so much fun watching this little guy grow over the past year and are excited to see what the next year brings.

Many Reasons to Celebrate

First of all... Parker is now OFFICIALLY potty trained! We have had one accident in the past week and we no longer have to ask him if he needs to go the the bathroom 100 times a day. He is doing a great job, and is even staying dry through the night. We are so proud of him and love to see him growing and changing.



Also, we just found out that Charles will be coming home for good sometime in the next couple of months!! He now has a job in Decatur, and we couldn't be more grateful, excited, relieved... well you get the picture.

And to top it all of our sweet little baby will be one tomorrow, and we will celebrate our sixth anniversary on Sunday. I thought these two occasions deserved a post of their own.
