Its a....

Precious baby BOY!! Dr. Nix had no trouble getting our little one to show him his "boy parts". It was by far the best ultrasound I have ever had. This sweet little baby cooperated completely and I was amazed at how well we could see him. We had a great profile view of him and we could see his little hand, including fingers and thumb, opening and closing. He opened his mouth for us a couple of times, which I think Charles thought was great. We could also see his little legs kicking at my tummy. I can't even describe how it felt to be able to see this perfect little person moving around and feel him at the same time. I truly can't wait to meet this little guy!

Yes, we are still alive!

I know it has been FOREVER since I last posted. We have just been really busy and/or sick most of the past couple weeks. I think the worst of it is over and we are on our way to being well.

For those of you who don't know today is the "big ultrasound" in which we will hopefully be finding out if we will be adding a little girl, or another little boy to our family. I promise that I will post later tonight or tomorrow and let everyone know what we find out.

Until then here are a few fun pictures from the other day when David and Jessica gave me a few hours of peace and took the boys to the park.

For Aunt Jessi

We are total Aunt Jessi lovers in our house! Not only is she a big help to me, but she is a fun Aunt to the boys. The other night Aunt Jessi invited Carsen to have a sleepover with her, and he had a great time! He told me that they watched Monsters Inc. and ate popcorn together. In fact he had so much fun that the next night we were at my parents house and he thought that he should be able to sleep over again.
As he was playing in the yard yesterday afternoon he picked some "flowers" for his Aunt Jessi because he , "LOOOOOVES her"
I loooove you too Jessi :)

The price of playing nice

Our boys have never really played well together. Alone they are fine, but when they get together things just get really crazy, really fast. Well, the other morning I wasn't feeling well and they had gone into Carsen's room to play.... together.....alone...... just the two of them. I figured that it would only be a matter of minutes until things got completely out of control. So I sat, and I waited. Imagine my surprise when the minutes kept ticking by and I hadn't heard a single scream. I could see into the room from where I was enough that I would see one of them walk by the door occasionally, and so I knew they were doing ok. After about 30 minutes I decided I better poke my head in the door and make sure that things were really ok. This is what I found......

I decided that the damage was already done and so I snuck back to my spot on the couch and enjoyed the fact that my boys were playing nice. The nice play continued for another two and a half hours!!! It was totally worth the hour it took us to clean up the mess!

15 weeks!

As I was talking to my friend the other day she mentioned to me that she kept forgetting I was pregnant because I never mention it on my blog, and so I decided I would not only mention it, but I would put a picture up as well! I was 15 weeks in this picture and I think that I was about this same size at 20+ weeks with the boys. :) I guess that is one of the gifts of 3 pregnancies in 4 years! I won't promise any more pictures, but I will try and update friends and family a little more frequently than I have been. I am thinking of having a poll to see what everyone thinks we are having.... look for it on my side bar!

Where's Parker?

The other day I was looking for Parker and I could not find him ANYWHERE. I had thought that I heard him making noise in his closet and so I kept peeking in there, but I wasn't seeing him. I finally walked in and turned the light on and after looking a little closer I discovered my little monkey.. do you see him?!

A sticky situation

After dinner the other night I gave the boys some pudding for dessert. After Parker had finished he threw his bowl on the floor and so I thought it would be safe for me to make a quick run to the bathroom.... How wrong I was. When I came back Carsen had dug his little hands into his bowl of pudding and was squishing it between his fingers. I grabbed his bowl and told him to stand very still. I turned around to take the bowl to the sink and I hear this flipping sound. I spun around to see Carsen shaking his pudding coated hands back and forth as the pudding flew all over my breakfast area/ kitchen. This picture really doesn't do justice to the damage that this child created, but it will have to do. Lesson learned, never ever go to the bathroom while your 3 year old eats dessert!

And here is my sweet little Parker with a head full of syrup... Yummy! I don't know why, but he has to tip his plate/bowl/cup over on his head whenever he is finished eating. In the Wight house we don't EAT our food, we WEAR it!
