Help Wanted

Well, it looks like we will be officially putting our house on the market within the next couple weeks. This has left me feeling very relieved, excited, nervous, but most of all OVERWHELMED!! So overwhelmed that I am doing something that I have such a difficult time doing... asking for help. :)

Of course I want to do everything I can to help our house sell ASAP and so that our family can move to Tuscaloosa with Charles, therefore I need help "staging" the house for sale. I have a few problem areas that I haven't a clue what to do with and I know there are some super talented ladies out there that might be able to lend a helping hand.... So, there it is my plea for help! :) I only hope some brave soul is willing to take on the challenge, because trust me I am a challenge... ha ha

A quick update

I don't have a whole lot of time and so I'm sorry this isn't very detailed! I just wanted to let everyone know that we are doing well, and to share a few pictures with you all! Here is Griffen doing something he almost never does.... cry! For the most part he is a very content baby and has fit right in with our family and our lives.

And last but not least... Here is Carsen on his first day of Preschool!! I can't believe that he is old enough to be sent out into the world without me for 8 hours a week :(! It is so nice to have a little bit of a break, but at the same time I have missed him terribly while he is away!

Our newest addition

We are so happy to announce that Griffen Charles joined our family around nine o'clock on July 22nd! He was a little guy (at least in our family) and came in at 7lbs 1 ounce and 20 inches long. He is doing wonderfully and overall is a very happy and content baby.... unless he is hungry and then you better watch out! :) Carsen and Parker love their baby brother, maybe a little too much sometimes, and we are all adjusting to being a family of FIVE!! I know from experience that nights with a newborn are unpredictable and terribly long, but our little guy isn't even here yet and already I can't sleep! :) I smile, but if anyone knows what a hugely uncomfortable pregnant insomniac is to do.... please let me know!

In honor of my sweetheart's 33rd birthday I thought I would post this couples survey that I started filling out months ago! Charles is my perfect match and I am so grateful that he is my eternal companion, and an absolutely amazing father to our sweet little boys.

How long did you date? We dated 2 months and were engaged another 5 months.

How old is he? He's 33 today!

Who said "I love you" first? This is sad, but I can't remember! Although, I am pretty sure it was probably me.

Who is taller? Charles by about 8 inches

Who sings better? This would be Charles by FAR! :) I am a horrible singer, and Charles is a GREAT singer.

Who is smarter? Charles again!

Who does the laundry?ME!!! I am so anal about my laundry that I won't let anyone else touch it.

Who does the dishes? Mostly me, Charles helps me out once in awhile.

Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? Charles does! He claimed it when we were first married.

Who pays the bills? Charles

Who mows the lawn? Charles

Who cooks? I do 98% of the cooking, but when I'm not feeling so well Charles cooks for us. He makes some pretty tasty creations.

Who is more stubborn? We are both pretty stubborn so I'm going to say it's pretty equal

Who kissed who first? I am going to say it was a mutual decision ;)

Who asked who out?Charles asked me out.

Who is more sensitive? Me! Charles has his sensitive moments, but overall I am much more sensitive.

Who has more friends? I have more friends that I hang out with and keep in touch with.

Who has more siblings? We both have three siblings.

Who wears the pants in the relationship? Charles and I are pretty equal. He makes the final decisions, but he talks things over with me first.... most of the time anyway ;)
